The CURT 16024 is a heavy-duty OEM-compatible 5th-wheel leg kit designed to work with the truck-bed puck system installed in select GM pickups. It provides a stable, secure platform for mounting a 5th-wheel hitch, enabling the towing of heavy trailers with ease.

This leg kit is intended to be used with a compatible 5th-wheel hitch head (e.g. CURT A30 #16590) the legs themselves are only part of the full hitch assembly.

Important Fitment Notes:



The truck must have the OEM puck system / 5th-wheel prep package from the factory. If your truck does not have this, the 16024 legs will not work without additional modification.


You need a compatible 5th-wheel hitch head the legs alone do not provide the hitch.

Ensure that the bed is the 8-ft (long bed) configuration 16024 does not support short bed versions.
Always verify your truck’s towing capacity and that of the trailer — the 30,000 lb rating is the maximum for the legs only, and actual safe towing capacity may be lower depending on your hitch head, trailer, and vehicle.

Usage and Installation Details
