AdvantEDGE side bars are designed to take your custom truck build to the next level. Their all-angular design -- from their octagonal tube profile to their mesh-style step pads to their angled end caps -- is meant to complement the style and attitude of modern pickup trucks. These unique truck side steps are part of the larger AdvantEDGE series, giving you a complete customization option. Together with the AdvantEDGE bull bar, AdvantEDGE headache rack or Switchback® headache rack, AdvantEDGE side bars revamp the look of today's pickups to be something truly aggressive and unique.
AdvantEDGE truck side steps are not just for looks, however. They are engineered to withstand a barrage of outdoor elements to keep up with offroad trucks and street trucks alike. AdvantEDGE running boards feature an all-aluminum construction. The octagonal, extruded aluminum tubing offers a high-strength design while remaining extremely lightweight compared to steel. The use of aluminum also ensures unparalleled corrosion resistance in spite of rain, dirt, snow, mud, road salt and much more.
To further boost corrosion resistance and offer maximum customization for your truck, these aluminum running boards are available in two durable powder coat finish options. The powder coat over aluminum protects the boards from the elements, and it resists chipping, scratches and UV damage. The running boards are available in a sleek carbide black finish or a bright chrome powder coat finish, allowing you to select the look that best integrates with the style of your vehicle.
For an aggressive finishing touch and enhanced durability, AdvantEDGE step bars feature unique step pas. Like the rest of the boards, the step pads are constructed from aluminum, featuring a stamped octagonal mesh design. Aluminum provides extra-long-lasting wear resistance on the steps and will never crack or fade. The step pads also come with a durable textured black powder coat finish that further protects against wear and offers excellent traction for your boots or shoes when entering your truck.
For a custom look, raw aluminum replacement step pads are also available. The raw aluminum construction allows you to paint the step pads any color to match the look of your truck. Replacement step pads are available for all AdvantEDGE side bar board lengths.
Installing AdvantEDGE truck side steps is truly a walk in the park, featuring the VersaTrac® mounting system. For each application, a unique length of boards and a unique set of brackets is used to ensure a custom fit with no drilling necessary. The VersaTrac® brackets use pre-existing mounting points on the vehicle, and once installed, they are able to accept any running boards or side steps that use the VersaTrac® system. This particular set of custom running boards is tailored to fit certain years of the Ford Ranger crew cab (see application information to verify fitment with your vehicle).
The brackets are constructed from high-strength steel for maximum rigidity, and they are protected with a durable black powder coat finish. This set of Ford Ranger running boards comes with all necessary mounting hardware for a complete installation.
